Wesley Phay, online alias BlazerKnight; otherwise known as ShineSilver and Akanova. Born 1992 in Singapore, currently studying in Australia. Has a wide array of interests, including but not limited to: art, literature, philosophy, video games, comics, manga & anime. Enjoys thought-provoking discussions and spends way too much time on the computer. Is always embarrassed when reading his (abominably written) old blog posts.

My blog has no single purpose – it’s my digital notebook. As such I scribble in journal entries next to game reviews and philosophical rants, albeit erratically. The blank slate of this text box offers so many possibilities, so I might as well explore them. Feel free to comment on anything, I’d love to hear your opinion. Below is a list of links that comprise my online presence.

  1. I don’t know If people can see my post here but Wesley committed suicide on the 22/03/2010.
May the light from his flame blaze forever.

  4. Hey Wesley, it’s been about 10 years and I only got to know that you’ve passed.
So it’s quite a weird feeling for me because we were quite close in primary 2. If I didn’t remember wrongly, you told me you liked me and it was a really cute memory etched in my mind.
I know that you are very smart, we did some test and you went to a better school(?), I didn’t know where you went and it was 20 years ago, no social media haha.
3 years later, you came back during Mooncake Festival and we talked for a bit. Then we didn’t talk anymore. You were still cute and still shy, so was I.
As years passed, I did try to search for your Facebook when I was in secondary school, but couldn’t find you. There was no way to contact you.

Very oddly, I just thought of you and I still remember your full name (after 21 years) so I did a google search, but devastatingly came across this information. Although I only knew you for a short time, I am crying because I can’t believe that I didn’t know earlier.

You’ll always be a part of my memory (possibly my very first ‘boyfriend’). Thank you for being such a close friend of mine when we were in primary 2. I’ll miss you.

    Rest In Peace.
